The Global Trade Index

Tixx™ is a groundbreaking economic forecasting system that can accurately calculate the past, present and future relative growth, decline, share, size and value of any market sector and its players, up to four years in advance.

Unlike all other existing forecasting systems, Tixx™ does not use artificial intelligence or statistical extrapolations from past data to project a hypothetical future: it relies on data in public and private procurement contracts that are valid for weeks, months and years after their publication, and is thus capable of accurately calculating the relative future value of every market sector and that of its players.

The program specification was filed with the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) under reference no. DSO2023020065 in December 2023.

About us

Facts for Futures™

Ever since we first became aware of the future, foresight has been part of survival. From oracles to astrologers, cartomancy to quantum computers, whether as individuals or enterprises we try to foresee the pitfalls that lie in our paths in order to avoid them.

In today’s global economy, subject to rapid ecological, technological and geopolitical change, forecasting is vital in every industry, from weather reports to winning ratios, to help managers, analysts and investors make informed conjectures about the future, to allocate budgets, estimate trends, plan resources…

But all of these forecasting systems contain the same inherent flaw: they extrapolate data from past events in order to foresee a possible future. And although artificial intelligence now helps inform their predictive analyses, they necessarily remain conjectural. Due to contingencies, they can only be uncertain, and the farther a forecast projects into the future, the less precise it becomes.

Tixx™

The Tixx™ Forecasting Model

In countries with a regulated economy, all works of national importance such as infrastructure, transport, space, defence, education, health, etc., are the subject of calls for tender, to which large companies respond, currently representing around 15% of GDP.

These companies then launch calls for tenders for supplies and related services to which SMEs respond; these then call on MSMEs for smaller supplies and related services, together accounting for around 20% of GDP.

These combined public and private markets generate income through employment for consumer spending that accounts for the remainder of a country’s GDP.

Within the EU alone, public procurement represents an annual trade volume of 525 billion euros (2021 figures). But Tixx™ takes into account public and private contracts published daily in 194 countries, enabling economic forecasts of pragmatic precision, making it easier to understand the daily ebb and flow of markets worldwide.

With an initial database of some 8 million contract award notices for 2023 alone, valid for up to 4 years after their publication date, the Tixx™ model is capable of calculating exactly what the future holds for all market sectors and their key players.
